"Maximo" is a 1991 Ducati 900SS built by Kelly Newman for Supertwins racing in MRA and AHRMA. Max has a relatively stock bottom end and cylinders, but has a unique head (converted to downdraft) and exhaust system (916 style). Max is a true joy to ride-- I purchased him 4 weeks ago and won first place last weekend in the MRA twins class (fortunately, the 888 of Scott Kittinger wasn't there). It is quite a different ride from my EX-500 and is taking saddle time to learn, but what a SWEET machine. I've been lusting after a Duc for 10 years, now if i can only afford the tires... 	This bike, while built to be a rider, has won me two trophies through our region`s vintage club, including the coveted "Peoples Choice" award at the last running of the "Isle Of Vashon" here in Seattle.
